If you purchased a Premium level Getcover policy on or after the 1st June 2019, you may be able to avail of the Airport Lounge facilities while you wait for your delayed flight.
Lounge access will only become available on the announcement of a minimum two-hour delay, not, for example, two consecutive one-hour delays.

You must have access to a mobile device so that you can receive an SMS message in order to gain access to the lounge.
Otherwise, your normal travel delay cover will apply and we would refer you to your policy document.
To take advantage of this benefit you will need to call one of the following :
You will need to quote your policy number and flight details. If your claim is valid you will then be sent an SMS message which will give you access to an airport lounge for the duration of your delay.

If you have experienced a problem that may result in a claim, you can call the help in a home emergency service (if it is an emergency) and, if necessary, the police. Make sure to phone the Aviva Property Claims Service on 1890 666 888 as soon as you can for help and guidance with your claim. A dedicated specialist will take details of the damage or loss. There are no forms to fill and some types of claims are settled over the phone. If your insurer needs to assess the damage or loss, they will make an appointment for a loss adjuster to visit you.
If there is a home emergency, we can help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through our service provider, MAPFRE ASSISTANCE Agency Ireland.
