Value of contents to be insured

Your home contents include all items belonging to you or to any other member of your family permanently residing with you at the property, including personal items and items of specific value which can be physically removed from the building.

Contents belonging to another tenant or to your landlord will not be covered under this policy.

Please choose a percentage which adequately represents the value of your contents.

Please note that individual high risk items will be covered in your home for up to 5% of the contents sum insured. The total of these high risk items cannot be more than 50% of the contents sum insured. If this is not the case it may be necessary to increase your contents sum insured.

High risk items are specifically jewellery, items of precious metal, pictures, watches, furs, works of art, television, video and audio equipment, home-computer, photographic equipment, stamps or coins.
