Low Cost Backpacker Travel Insurance

Planning an extended trip away? If so our backpacker policy is ideal for you. We take into account the nature of a long stay holiday and have developed our cover to provide you will the most suitable policy for your trip.

  • Scheduled airline failure
    Now provided as standard on all new Single and Annual Policies. Your policy covers you up to €5,000 in irrecoverable costs in the event that the Scheduled Airline you are travelling with fails.
  • With our policy you can return home for two short breaks up to 14 days, during your trip.
  • Your policy includes Personal Accident cover of €38,000.
  • You will have €4 million worth of medical expenses including emergency assistance and repatriation cover.
  • Cover includes – 3 bungee jumps; Diving up to 30m; White Water Rafting (Grade 1 to 4); and plenty of other activities.
  • You have the option to include connecting flight cover. Essential if your trip involves more than 2 flights!
  • You can spend up to 15% of your total trip time in next higher-rated destination area (e.g. pay for Australia/New Zealand cover and you can spend up to 15% of your total trip time anywhere in the World).
